For me the solution was to return to bootcamp assistant, do nothing but return the system to mac only, then re-run bootcamp assistant only selecting the third option (install windows 7), without selecting the first 2 options which I had done previously (create USB drive and download drivers). I've updated the latest OSX firmware, didn't help. I've tried booting into the Windows cd to do a system repair, but no joy. It seems to be all about the order you do things.
